QC Chemistry Analyst (12 month FTC)

Baxter Thetford is looking for a Chemistry Analyst to work in the QC Chemistry laboratory team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role involves supporting analytical testing during various manufacturing stages of product development at Thetford, collaborating with QC analysts, and following established practices within required time frames.

Responsibilities

• Assist with testing on various process samples.
• Participate in laboratory investigations as required.
• Follow Good Quality Control Laboratory Practices and maintain a clean, tidy work area.
• Provide support to the supervisor in any reasonable request related to laboratory operation.
• Work a weekly rotation of Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 and Monday to Friday 05:00-13:00 and qualify for shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Science based degree, preferably in Chemistry.
• Experience working in a laboratory, ideally GMP experienced.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to the expectations and requirements of the Quality team and internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills.
