Job Description

Quality Control (QC) Analyst x2

Type: 12-Month contract

Join our client's team as a Quality Control Analyst at their Grangemouth site! This is your chance to contribute to a vital aspect of manufacturing and make a difference in a collaborative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control analysis of samples, including in-process, final, occupational hygiene, and environmental samples.
  • Provide exceptional analytical support to manufacturing plants, addressing any equipment issues that arise.
  • Analyse and confirm product quality against predetermined manufacturing specifications.
  • Ensure all analytical equipment is calibrated and maintained per departmental quality systems.
  • Collaborate with the QC team to ensure timely reporting of sample results.

Who You'll Work With:

    • You will be part of a vibrant team working alongside both day and shift teams, contributing to a supportive environment focused on excellence.

What You Bring:

      • Analytical Expertise: Proficient in a range of techniques, particularly G.C. and HPLC operations.
      • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organisation.
      • Organisational Skills: Strong planning and organisational abilities to manage your workload effectively.
      • Adaptability: Capability to prioritise tasks and operate efficiently under pressure, adjusting to varying production needs.

Experience:

      • Demonstrated operational experience with Agilent instrumentation.
      • Proven expertise in GC and HPLC maintenance and troubleshooting.
      • Experience with occupational hygiene monitoring and environmental sampling is a plus.
      • Familiarity with Agilent UPLC, including troubleshooting and maintenance, is desirable.

Education:

    • HNC or equivalent in a science or engineering-related discipline.
