The Opportunity

We are delighted to be partnering with a global technology organisation as they seek to appoint a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their Belfast-based team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA Automation professional to play a key role in driving quality across complex software platforms. You'll work closely with Developers, Product Owners and QA teams, helping to deliver high-quality software within a modern Agile environment.

The Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will take ownership of test strategy and automation, ensuring quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

You'll work with modern automation technologies, CI/CD pipelines, APIs and AI-powered tools, while helping to develop scalable and robust test frameworks.

What You Need

• Extensive experience in QA Automation within Agile environments
• Strong experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar automation tools
• Programming experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Java or similar
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong API, functional and end-to-end testing experience
• Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Understanding of performance and non-functional testing, ideally using K6 or JMeter
• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT to improve testing workflows
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders
