Python Engineer - Contract - Inside IR35

We're gearing up for an exciting new project launching in the next couple of weeks, and we're looking for skilled Python Engineers to join our team on a contract basis (Inside IR35).

Given the quick turnaround, we're especially keen to hear from candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period.

Please note: Project and kickoff delays are possible, so if you don't hear anything for 1-2 weeks don't worry, you're still in the running.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Proficient in Python with strong experience using the Flask framework to develop RESTful APIs and web applications.
• Skilled in building, containerising, and running applications using Docker, including writing and optimising Dockerfiles.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters, including configuration, scaling, and monitoring.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with API design principles, microservice architecture, and cloud-native security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK/EFK stacks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across development, container, and cluster environments, with a focus on scalable and reliable deployments.
