Job Title: Python Developer

Python Developer position in a long term project to roll out Gen AI in a global financial services organisation.

Required Skills:

• Strong development skills in Python; Version 3+.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Good programming skills including understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and multi-threading.
• Experience with large scale, globally distributed systems with an emphasis on high availability.
• Experience with Agile development practices,
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.

Desirable Skills:

• Micro services, Containerization/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools.
• A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.
• Exposure of working with teams leveraging AI/ML, GenAI
• Exposure to RAG and prompt engineering
