Python AI Developer

McGregor Boyall have partnered with a multi-strategy hedge fund scaling it's top performing team from 2025. The fund has launched a greenfield AI initiative to build LLM into their market execution and Alpha generation. You will be working directly with Front Office users who sit on the desk.

You will be using Python and AI engineering techniques to pioneer something at the forefront of the market, with a globally renowned hedge fund. Multiple hires at multiple experience levels on offer.

This role is hybrid, based in London.

Requirements:

- Excellent Python programming ability

- Clear expertise with AI in a commercial trading environment. You will be scaling LLMs and AI models into production within your current role at either a hedge fund, market maker or top investment bank

- Fixed Income trading knowledge and commercial experience essential. You will have spent time in Front Office teams covering Rates, FI/FICC, Macro trading, Bonds or ABS

Nice to have:

- Prior experience as a tech lead

- Excellent academics

- Your AI-specific knowledge will center around Anthropic Claude, LlangChain and LlamaIndex
