Purchasing Administrator Forfar Ongoing Temporary Contract ASAP Start £13.50/Hour

Hays Business Support is delighted to be supporting a large local organisation to recruit for a Purchasing Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis.
Your new role

  • Process purchase/sales orders and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability and delivery schedules
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand
  • Resolve order discrepancies, delivery issues and invoice queries
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and documentation
  • Generate reports on purchasing activity, cost savings and supplier performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

  • What you'll need to succeed
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or sales administrative role (preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment)
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • High levels of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
