We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy business based in Halesowen on a temporary, ongoing basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in purchase ledger and accounts who is looking for a Monday to Friday role.

The role

As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of the purchase ledger function, including:

• Processing and checking purchase ledger invoices
  
  
• Matching invoices and resolving any discrepancies
  
  
• Closing the purchase ledger accurately and within deadlines
  
  
• Processing wages and supporting payroll-related administration
  
  
• Preparing and submitting pension returns
  
  
• Maintaining accurate financial records
  
  
• Dealing with supplier queries and invoice-related issues
  
  
• Assisting with general accounts administration as required
  
  

About you

• The successful candidate will have previous experience within a purchase ledger or accounts environment and be confident managing invoices and financial information.
  
  
• You will need to be organised, accurate and comfortable working to deadlines, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  
  
• Purchase ledger experience is essential.
