In the role of Public Area Cleaner, you will report to Head Housekeeper and be responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in the day to day running of the department.

Responsibilities

• Keep all public areas neat, vacuumed and dusted. Make sure mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors are clean and mark free. Remove all trash from areas.
• Regularly check Lobby Restrooms, keep surfaces clean, restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand towels).
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.
• Spot clean all furniture and keep it in its proper place.
• Clean all brass in the public areas.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies and use them in a proper manner.
• Be aware of and use recycling facilities within the service areas.

Qualifications

Previous experience of working in a housekeeping environment and the ability to deliver a consistent level of service in a challenging environment.
