Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable hands-on experience working with children and young people?
We are currently recruiting a passionate and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant to work within a specialist SEN provision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy or Mental Health.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- SEMH needs
- Anxiety and emotional regulation difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Communication needs
Working closely with teachers and other professionals, you will provide both academic and emotional support to pupils throughout the school day.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a degree in Psychology or a related subject
- Have a genuine interest in child development and mental health
- Be patient, resilient and empathetic
- Be confident building positive relationships with young people
- Be able to support pupils who may display challenging behaviour
This role offers fantastic practical experience for graduates looking to develop their understanding of children's behaviour, learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
