Job Description
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychologist to work with children and young people presenting with Trauma /Attachment issues alongside complex mental health in residential settings working across sites in Peterborough (main office) , Northampton, London and Kent.
Role snapshot:
The successful candidate will involve working with children and young people who are looked after, to complete assessments , formulations and interventions , while delivering trauma - informed practice. This includes supporting emotional and behavioural needs such as trauma, attachment, autism and learning disabilities amongst other mental health. You will champion safeguarding and design and deliver staff training which is engaging.
Contract Type - permanent
Hours - Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
Salary - Up to £60,000 FTE
Experience required:
Candidates applying will have HCPC registration as a Psychologist and experience working with children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural/ neurodiverse needs either during doctoral training or post qualifying.
