Psychologist - child/adolescent trauma

Shire Healthcare are working with a specialist care provider for children and young people presenting with complex needs, to recruit a Psychologist to work in Herefordshire .

Role snapshot:

The successful candidate will join an Therapies Team who work with children and young people (ages 10-18) providing assessments , formulations and psychological interventions (including DBT ) on both a 1-2-1 and group basis.

You will provide a high quality therapy service to carers, families, and groups within/across teams.

You will also conduct psychometric and risk assessments , provide research and contribute to service developments .

Contract type - permanent

Hours - 3 days - 5 days per week

Salary - Up to £55,350 FTE

Experience required:

Counsellors applying will have HCPC registration and hold previous experience working with children and young people presenting with complex needs , specifically trauma .

Due to the nature of the role, a car owner/driver is required.
