Full Time: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

£160,000 per year + £5,000 welcome bonus

Linq are partnered with a well-established independent mental health hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join their senior clinical leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive innovation and shape psychiatric services in a supportive and progressive environment.

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary clinical team, manage a defined patient caseload, and help deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team and deliver evidence-based psychiatric treatment
• Manage a defined inpatient caseload and ensure clinical excellence
• Collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Support peer development, supervision, and revalidation
• Contribute to service evaluation, audits, CPD, and research
• Promote a culture of safety, learning, and innovation

Requirements:

• Full GMC Registration
• Section 12(2) Approval
• Approved Clinician Status
• MRCPsych
• Good CPD standing
• Minimum of 5 years in in-patient psychiatry
• Experience in Psychiatric Intensive Care and/or Acute Services
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and decision-making skills
• Strong understanding of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to high standards of care and professional development
