Proposals Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a Proposals Engineer with a background in Building Services Engineering, M&E, HVAC, or industrial engineering / manufacturing.

Salary: up to £48K
Benefits: 25 days holiday, private medical, pension, flexible working hours with early finish on Friday

Previous tendering and proposals experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is essential.

1. Work in a team to develop accurate and competitive proposals for large, high-value engineered-to-order industrial solutions.
2. Create basic design sketches using AutoCAD.
3. Review tender documents and specifications.
4. Calculate accurate costings.
5. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proposals are technically accurate and suitable.

1. Degree or HNC in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Ability to produce AutoCAD sketches for spatial design and costing.
3. Strong knowledge of tendering in an industrial engineering or manufacturing environment.
4. Previous experience as a Proposals Engineer, Tendering Engineer, Internal Sales Engineer, or Mechanical Design Engineer.
