Property Services Team Leader
Employment Details- Contract Type: Permanent
- Salary: £41,895.86 per annum
- Working Hours: 35 hours per week, full time
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, hybrid
- Location: Arlington, Camden
You will be responsible for leading and managing one of the six operations support teams to ensure the provision of effective and efficient administration surrounding the repairs, services, compliance works and other technical projects. Supporting the Head of P&P to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Effective line management of one of the administrative teams; lead, manage, motivate, engage and support the team to deliver a customer focused service.
- Provide leadership through coaching, mentoring, 121s and team meetings; ensure team members understand their role and areas of responsibility.
- Understand and adhere to financial and procurement procedures.
- Ensure team members are inducted and adequately trained and that personal development plans are reviewed regularly.
- Support Senior Managers to monitor and manage DLO and third party contractor performance to achieve agreed service levels and KPIs.
- Manage gas servicing, communal heating servicing, M&E PPM, EICRs and similar tasks and the associated compliance data, certificates and legal packs.
- Produce timely management reports to support service delivery and meet business requirements.
- Set targets for the team, monitor them, provide regular reports/updates and take corrective action where targets are under threat.
- Act as an ambassador for the service, actively building positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform any other reasonable duties to support service delivery.
- Essential
- Previous line management experience.
- Advanced IT skills and literacy.
- Experience in Social Housing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Proven track record of problem solving, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
- Good time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Strong customer experience ethos.
- Able to work alone or as part of a team, demonstrates company values e.g. customer first.
- Desirable
- Contract management admin support.
- Experience of scheduling the multi-disciplinary delivery of a large repairs service using an ICT job appointing tool.
- Experience in the use of ICT systems including mobile working, job management and performance systems.
- Experience of working in a pressurised environment, dealing with challenging situations.
- Experience of partnership working.
- Outline knowledge of Repair & Maintenance methodologies.
- Knowledge of job ordering / information systems.
