Your Diverse Property Practice

As part of our experienced team, you'll manage an engaging and varied commercial property caseload that spans the full spectrum of property law:

• Commercial Property Excellence - Handle acquisitions, disposals, and complex lease negotiations across Peterborough's expanding property portfolio
• Regeneration Support - Play a key role in property transactions supporting the exciting Station Quarter development and other major projects
• Landlord & Tenant Expertise - Manage the full range of L&T matters from rent reviews to lease renewals
• Strategic Asset Management - Work on option agreements and licenses that unlock development potential
• Specialist Sectors - Gain experience in agricultural property work and academy leases

What You'll Do

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial property acquisitions and disposals
• Draft and negotiate leases, licenses, and option agreements
• Handle landlord and tenant matters including rent reviews, lease renewals, and dilapidations
• Advise on agricultural property transactions and rural estate matters
• Work on academy leases and education sector property requirements
• Support regeneration projects through strategic property advice
• Collaborate with developers, agents, and internal stakeholders on complex transactions
• Provide practical property law advice that enables service delivery and growth

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate, Barrister, or Fellow of CILEx
• Strong commercial property experience with knowledge of acquisitions, disposals, and leasing
• Understanding of landlord and tenant law and lease management
• Experience with option agreements and development transactions (desirable)
• Knowledge of agricultural property or education sector property (advantageous)
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
