Senior/Principal Associate - Real Estate Disputes 6+ PQE Leading National Firm Birmingham Hybrid Working The Role

A leading national law firm is looking to appoint a Senior/Principal Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate Disputes team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced Partners on a varied caseload of complex commercial property disputes, advising a broad client base including investors, developers, public sector organisations, universities, healthcare providers and charities.

The role will involve a strong mix of property litigation and advisory work, including possession and forfeiture claims, lease renewals, rent reviews, adverse possession, rights of way, option disputes and other commercial property matters. You will handle disputes through the County Court, High Court and Tribunals, as well as through ADR.

You will manage your own caseload, support Partners on more complex matters, supervise junior lawyers and play an active role in business development, networking and client relationship management.

About You
  • 6+ years' PQE with strong, broad Real Estate Disputes experience
  • Hands-on experience of court and tribunal proceedings
  • Strong technical, analytical and drafting skills
  • Commercial and pragmatic approach to dispute resolution
  • Confident managing your own caseload and working with clients directly
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
  • An interest in business development and contributing to the continued growth of the team
