Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of domestic property damage claims across Essex.
• Visit claimants' properties to assess damage, discuss settlement options, and gather evidence.
• Coordinate visits from contractors and negotiate contracts.
• Compile comprehensive reports and settle claims in accordance with policy terms.
• Balance time between office and home-based work.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full UK driving licence, essential for travel by car.
• Basic knowledge of home insurance policies and domestic property insurance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements.
• Strong problem solving ability and resourcefulness.
• Effective time management skills, able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple claims concurrently.
• Knowledge of Apple software such as iPads, or other tablets is helpful but not essential.
