This is a client-side role where you would be involved in the strategic acquisition and development of property assets across Ireland rather than consulting on behalf of multiple clients. You'll gain exposure to business cases, acquisitions, stakeholder negotiations and nationally significant property projects.

Our client is seeking to appoint a Property Acquisition & Development Executive
to join its Strategic Property Management Division in Athlone. This is an exciting opportunity for a property professional to play a key role in the identification, assessment and acquisition of strategic land and property assets that support regional economic development and investment projects across Ireland.Working as part of a high-performing property team, you will be involved in the full property lifecycle, from site identification and due diligence through to acquisition, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
The Role Key responsibilities will include:- Identifying and assessing land and property acquisition opportunities.
- Conducting market analysis and evaluating development potential.
- Managing due diligence processes, including planning, legal, environmental, valuation and infrastructure assessments.
- Coordinating and managing external professional advisors including valuers, planners, engineers, surveyors and solicitors.
- Preparing business cases, financial appraisals and acquisition recommendations.
- Negotiating purchase agreements, leases, licences and other property transactions.
- Building strong relationships with landowners, developers, local authorities, state agencies and key stakeholders.
- Managing project risks, budgets, timelines and governance requirements.
- Supporting procurement and tender processes in line with public sector regulations.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop and deliver strategic property solutions.
- Maintaining accurate project records and supporting audit and compliance requirements.
- A Level 8 qualification in Property, Real Estate, Planning, Engineering, Construction, Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience working within a property-related function.
- Strong knowledge of property acquisition, development, planning or asset management processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to analyse opportunities and prepare recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A full clean driving licence.

Salary €53,072 - €76,227 per annum (Please note that candidates joining from the private sector are typically appointed at the first point of the salary scale.
