We are looking for a Projects Commercial Director to join our Building Services Operating Unit and Healthcare Facilities Management Team working across the UK.
The Projects Commercial Director will oversee all commercial, contractual and financial aspects across our portfolio of PFI Healthcare FM projects with main responsibilities being:
- Report to the Operating Unit Commercial Director.
- Support the FM Healthcare Divisional Director and provide leadership to the sector.
- Ensuring that the PFI Healthcare Facilities Management and Capital Works projects deliver commercial performance in line with agreed tender margins
What you'll do:
- Ensuring projects forecasting and reporting is accurate and identifies any issues early to the sector and OU leadership teams.
- Set PFI Healthcare commercial strategy and align with other FM and MEP sectors where appropriate.
- Lead and advise project teams on all matters associated with commercial agreements, settlements, disputes and concluding documentation.
- Lead, develop and train the FM healthcare personnel to ensure commercial competence and succession planning.
What you will bring to the role:
- An authentic and inclusive leader, capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and especially within the FM healthcare leadership team and the FM healthcare commercial team.
- Experience of working directly with customers and multiple stakeholders, preferably with healthcare experience.
- Working knowledge of complex construction and/or facilities management contracts, PFI Healthcare FM Sector / Contracts preferred or comparable experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of large corporate Construction / FM companies is preferred.
- Capacity to meet tight reporting and delivery deadlines on multiple projects.
- Strong problem solving, decision making and analytical capabilities.
- Technical commercial knowledge and decisiveness.
