Overview

Project/Program Manager - Location: London UK; Length: 12 months; Start date: ASAP; Rate: £500.00 - £650.00 Daily (Inside IR35); Hours: 40 hours per week (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite).

A successful candidate will have evidenced project management experience, a self-starter, and be able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization. An understanding of how field service operations and device fulfilment works across Europe would be helpful but not essential. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives, ideally in support of Internet Service Provider (ISP) related consumer products or services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving process improvements, implementing industry best-practices, and be comfortable working with external third parties as well as internal stakeholders in Europe and the US.

Key responsibilities
  • Onboard already-selected third parties in preparation for service launch of professional satellite systems installation and maintenance network for residential and business customers across Europe.
  • Develop and manage a project plan from onboarding through to go live
  • Help to establish key operational performance metrics, define business requirements for operational tools/systems, implement tracking and reporting mechanisms, and continuously optimize operational performance metrics.
  • Partner with global planning, forward logistics, and reverse logistics teams to optimize regional inventory allocation, local inventory placement, storage capacity, and fulfilment processes.
  • Once operational, meet our performance measurement criteria and drive process improvement across the business operations work stream, and focus on optimizing costs and deliver a fantastic customer experience.

Basic qualifications
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • Experience of launching and scaling new technology products, services, or businesses
  • 10+ years of managing field engineers/remote technical workforce
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience of direct to consumer ISP services
  • Experience of field-based technicians
  • Experience in technology, media, or telecommunications; satellite internet; or subscription services
