PROJECT WORKER - WESTMINSTER

Location: Westminster - working across 8 properties

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Weekend: 1 weekend per month on a rota

Contract: 2-month minimum assignment with potential for extension

Caseload: Around 10 clients

We’re recruiting for a Project Worker to support clients who have moved on from 24-hour hostel services into semi-independent accommodation.

You’ll work across 8 properties in Westminster, providing practical and emotional support to clients as they develop their independence, maintain their accommodation and move towards greater stability.

• Manage a caseload of around 10 clients.


• Provide regular 1-2-1 support and practical assistance.


• Support clients with independent living skills and maintaining their accommodation.


• Assist with housing, benefits, health, substance misuse and other support needs.


• Liaise with external agencies and partner organisations.


• Complete support plans, risk assessments and case notes.


• Identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.


• Work across 8 buildings, so being comfortable walking between locations is essential.

• Previous experience working with homeless clients, rough sleepers or vulnerable adults.


• Experience within supported housing, hostels or similar services.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Confident managing a caseload independently.


• Comfortable working across multiple locations and being on your feet throughout the day.


• Person-centred, proactive and able to build positive relationships with clients.
