We are looking for a Resourcing Coordinator to support the successful delivery of our portfolio of customer-facing projects within our Professional Services division. This involves coordinating technical staff across our three engineering divisions - Data & AI, Infrastructure & Applications and Security - to meet project demands.

This is a role requiring excellent stakeholder engagement and problem solving skills, and an ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environments.

We really value in-person collaboration, so we're looking for you to spend at least 60% of your time on-site. This means being at our company offices (primarily the London office) or at a client's site.

Please note: This is not a role focusing on recruitment or talent acquisition resourcing.

How You'll Shape Our Success

The newly established Resource Coordinator role is crucial for optimising resource allocation and ensuring successful client project delivery. This position will significantly contribute to organisational success by strategically assigning Delivery resources to maximize utilisation and efficacy. This individual will be accountable for achieving optimal resource allocation and successful project completion, ultimately driving substantial positive impact on project delivery outcomes.

What You'll Do:
  • Support the implementation of resource management strategies to optimise the use of resources across the Delivery organisation.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding of resources in the Professional Services Automation (PSA) tool.
  • Manage the allocation and scheduling of resources across Delivery to ensure maximum utilisation, continually monitoring usage to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain the resource scheduling within the PSA system to ensure accurate utilisation and revenue forecasts.
  • Work with project managers to ensure that individual project resourcing needs are established and maintained.
  • Work with the Delivery Directors, Heads of Department and training team to manage the skills library and maintain the quarterly updates in the PSA system
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Demonstrable experience in resource management, project coordination, or a senior administrative role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • An understanding of resource management principles, project planning, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently push back, engage in constructive debate, and negotiate with senior stakeholders to achieve optimal resourcing outcomes.
  • You must possess the gravitas to navigate difficult conversations effectively.
  • Comfortable interacting cross-departmentally and with staff across multiple office locations and geographies.
  • Experience in a tech, professional services, or MSP organisation would be desirable.

Location:

This role would be hybrid based (c. 40% at home, c.60% on-site). Your primary work location would be our Central London office, but there will be requirements to travel to our other office locations in Manchester, Swindon and Edinburgh.
