This is an exciting time to join Cardiff Council's Development and Regeneration Service Area. We are working hard to deliver local regeneration schemes and new build housing projects to help tackle housing need and improve our local communities. We work closely with our local communities, local Councillors and local stakeholders and as a team we are passionate about what we do.
About the jobThe post holder will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a council housing build programme across a diverse range of sites throughout Cardiff, specifically in the area of older persons accommodation. You will be involved in all stages of project delivery from planning and design to implementation and evaluation. Involvement in funding bids and project finances will also be required.
All projects include site investigation and appraisals, liaising with tenants and residents, and working in partnership with other service areas and external agencies in the design and specification of schemes.
What We Are Looking For From YouYou should have a qualification or proven experience in regeneration, housing, or a related discipline, possess good communication and customer care skills, be well organised and be able to work on your own initiative. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with partners would be crucial to this role.
