Project Manager/Senior Project Manager

Position: Project Manager/Senior Project Manager

Location: Brighton or Chatham covering East Sussex and Kent

Duration: Ongoing

Our client is looking to strengthen their delivery team with a Project Manager and a Senior Project Manager for their joint venture framework. You will support the design phase and manage the construction and commissioning phases by setting up contracts and ensuring they are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Promoting exceptional safety and delivery quality standards to the direct and subcontracted workforce.
2. Maintaining the Company's reputation on a project by ensuring good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.
3. Ensuring the BMS is implemented throughout the project delivery process, from tender handover to final completion.
4. Working with the design manager to ensure adequate technical, safety, and environmental reviews are carried out for each project.
5. Preparing, implementing, and securing approval for detailed construction plans and method statements prior to activities.
6. Producing work procedures to assist with quality control where applicable.
7. Reporting all site non-conformities and estimating associated costs.
8. Managing all commercial aspects of the project proactively, including accurate forecasting and estimates.
9. Understanding and implementing the company's Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies and targets.
10. Maintaining practical knowledge of all technical disciplines related to water and wastewater design and build projects.

Qualifications:

1. Degree or equivalent in a construction or engineering-related discipline.
2. APMP or equivalent qualification.
3. Delivery-driven with the ability to set targets, manage, and motivate multidisciplinary teams to meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
4. Strong strategic, operational, technical, and management skills.
5. Previous experience in water treatment is preferable.
6. Experience using Primavera or PowerProject.
7. Chartered or near-chartered status.
8. Knowledge of CDM regulations and construction health & safety standards.
9. EUSR Card.
