Agilité is recruiting an experienced project manager to join the UK team, delivering high end commercial interiors and fit out projects across the UK and wider Europe. This is a senior, highly operational role with full responsibility for projects from early pre construction through to handover.
The project manager will represent Agilité on site and with clients, taking ownership of technical, financial, contractual, safety and delivery performance. The role requires a confident, resilient professional with deep construction knowledge, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to lead complex projects in demanding, international environments.
This role is well suited to an organised, methodical, and self driven professional who is comfortable working independently within a collaborative project environment.
Reporting directly to the UK country head, the project manager is fully accountable for the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and achievement of project objectives.

Pre construction and tender involvement.- Getting involved early in the pre construction phase, assessing feasibility and delivery strategy
- Analysing tender responses and documentation, working closely with the cost estimator
- Making delivery and methodology recommendations aligned with cost, time and risk
- Exploring design and material alternatives with the design office to meet client expectations and improve profitability
- Integrating health, safety and environmental considerations into tender responses
- Contributing to budget proposals, feasibility studies and updated project submissions.
- Taking full ownership of fit out projects from mobilisation to handover and OPR
- Selecting subcontractors, leading negotiations, and managing procurement and planning
- Ensuring quality, cost and programme targets are consistently achieved
- Reviewing drawings and schedules, contributing where required to improve buildability
- Monitoring daily site progress, anticipating challenges and maintaining momentum
- Mobilising required technical experts and coordinating interventions
- Managing all aspects of works contracts, including technical, administrative and financial elements.
- Overseeing financial and contractual management to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintaining cost control, forecasting and variation management
- Managing contractual correspondence, claims and commercial risk
- Ensuring delivery on time and within the agreed budget.
- Acting as Agilité's primary on site representative and main point of contact
- Coordinating effectively between technical teams, control office, clients, consultants and subcontractors
- Organising and leading site meetings and progress meetings
- Preparing and following up on project documentation and reporting
- Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Applying HQSE regulations across all project activities
- Complying with company health and safety policy and ISO accreditations
- Ensuring subcontractors meet all safety, health and environmental requirements
- Embedding health and safety considerations throughout planning and execution.
- Communicating relevant project information clearly and promptly to teams
- Analysing and supporting production processes to maintain efficiency and quality
- Monitoring and reporting against key performance indicators
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of delivery processes.
- Identifying team strengths and development needs
- Supporting training plans and capability development
- Conducting regular assessments and contributing to performance management
- Promoting a collaborative, accountable and delivery focused culture.
- Minimum10 years' proven experience in a demanding construction or fit out environment
- Experience within the construction sector, ideally with a recognised general contractor
- Proven delivery of office, retail or hospitality fit out projects
- Highly operational, responsive and adaptable approach
- Strong commercial awareness and contractual understanding
- Established relationships within the local market
- Excellent communication skills and strong business acumen
- Ability to represent the company at senior client level

- Salary range: £60,000 - 70,000
