Project Manager (Divestment experience)

Our client is a global organisation undergoing a strategic divestment programme. You will join a cross-functional team delivering complex IT separation activities, ensuring continuity and successful transition across multiple regions and systems.

As an IT Project Manager, you will lead divestment activities across network, application, and infrastructure domains. You will coordinate end-to-end migration and separation efforts, ensuring systems, data, and services are successfully transitioned in line with business and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end IT divestment projects, covering network, application, and infrastructure separation.
• Manage migration of applications and infrastructure to new environments with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate networking activities including connectivity, access, and environment separation.
• Align stakeholders across business, IT, and external vendors throughout the divestment life cycle.
• Track timelines, risks, dependencies, and ensure delivery within scope and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance, documentation, and governance across all divestment and migration activities.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT divestment or separation programmes.
• Strong understanding of networking, infrastructure, and application migration projects.
• Experience managing complex, multi-stream IT programmes in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of migration strategies (lift-and-shift, replatforming, decommissioning).
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams.
• Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and timelines in high-pressure environments.
