Project Manager (Contract)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands on Project Manager to deliver the final stages of time critical projects. The successful candidate will take full ownership of planning, coordinating, and delivering all phases of the projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.

This is a practical role requiring strong organisation, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.

Negotiations, scheduling works, managing budgets, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an end to end project plan covering all phases of work
• Coordinate site works, machinery moves, installations, and recommissioning
• Agree and manage realistic timescales across all workstreams
• Ensure all works meet agreed specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management
• Ensure project delivery within agreed budget and timeframe

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience managing complex, multi site projects
• Strong background in industrial / manufacturing environments as well as off site delivery
• Experience coordinating contractors and technical specialists
• Excellent organisational, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Practical, solutions focused approach with attention to detail
• Comfortable working on site as required

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £60,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
