Project Manager

Location - East Midlands, United Kingdom

G2 are supporting an international EPC in recruiting a Freelance Project Manager for an 80 MW Solar PV project in the East Midlands, United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the delivery of a utility scale Solar PV project from early construction through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating civil, mechanical and electrical workstreams, ensuring alignment with design, project plans and EPC requirements.
• Managing subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant and timely installation of all Solar PV components and infrastructure.
• Overseeing documentation, project KPIs, risk management, stakeholder communication and on site decision making.
• Ensuring all works comply with design drawings, HSE requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations.

Requirements to be considered:

• Qualification in Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on utility scale Solar PV or large renewable energy construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, EPC processes, HSE standards and multi discipline project delivery.
• Strong communication and reporting skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Right to work in the UK.
