Summary

Keltbray is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a complex demolition project in the Helensburgh area of Scotland. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering the project safely, efficiently and in line with programme, commercial and quality objectives.

Keltbray is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of a complex demolition project in the Helensburgh area of Scotland. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering the project safely, efficiently and in line with programme, commercial and quality objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, NEC contract administration experience, stakeholder management skills and the ability to operate within complex, highly regulated project environments.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the safe delivery of major demolition and enabling works projects from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Manage project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners to achieve programme, cost and quality objectives.
  • Administer NEC contracts, including Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Accepted Programmes, Defined Cost assessments and change management activities.
  • Utilise CEMAR for contract administration and management of contractual communications.
  • Develop and monitor project programmes, resource plans, risk registers and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, including CDM regulations and company procedures.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control and reporting in conjunction with commercial teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, local authorities and key stakeholders.
  • Lead project governance processes, reporting requirements and assurance reviews.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities, implementing appropriate corrective actions where required.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and drive continuous improvement across project teams.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in decommissioning, demolition, energy, nuclear, infrastructure, construction or a similar major-project environment.
  • Extensive practical knowledge of NEC contract administration and execution.
  • Experience using CEMAR for contract administration.
  • Strong understanding of Early Warnings, Compensation Events, Accepted Programmes, Defined Cost, target cost and risk reduction processes.
  • Demonstrable experience managing major contractors and supply chains.
  • Strong commercial, programme and risk management capability.
  • Experience operating within formal project governance and assurance frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills.
  • The confidence to challenge, influence and make effective decisions in complex environments.
  • A strong personal commitment to safety, quality, regulatory compliance and professional standards.
  • SC Security Clearance
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • SMSTS and appropriate CSCS card.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
