Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on a major mixed-use residential development in Dun Laoghaire, combining high-spec student accommodation, commercial units, and leisure space within a multi-phase, urban regeneration setting.

This company is known for delivering technically complex builds across commercial, residential, and public-sector projects throughout Ireland. They're looking for a results-driven Project Manager to join their delivery team and oversee this landmark scheme from early-stage construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full construction programme for a large-scale, multi-block development, including residential accommodation, public amenities, and commercial units.

• Manage all on-site operations, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Coordinate design, engineering, and subcontractor teams to deliver across multiple structural and fit-out phases.

• Oversee procurement schedules, trade package scopes, and contract administration with support from QS and Contracts Managers.

• Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and utilities to ensure compliance with planning, BC(A)R, and safety regulations.

• Maintain close communication with the client and stakeholders, ensuring clarity on progress, cost management, and quality control.

• Implement best practices in construction management, including the use of digital tools for project tracking, documentation, and reporting.

• Drive a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement on site.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in project management or senior site leadership roles within large-scale building projects.

• Proven background in multi-storey residential or mixed-use developments, ideally within tight urban sites.

• Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, BC(A)R, and health & safety legislation.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders and demanding timelines.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills with a hands on, solutions focused approach.

• Proficiency in construction management systems such as MS Project, Procore, or similar platforms.
