Project Manager - Permanent - Birmingham - Tier 1 Contractor - Severn Trent Water AMP8 Framework

Your new company
Our client, a Tier 1 contractor based in Birmingham operating in the water industry, is seeking a Project Manager to join their business. This established multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, delivering non-infrastructure projects directly for Severn Trent Water. With a healthy orderbook of AMP8 projects, they are looking to grow their project management team.
This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Birmingham office with occasional site visits and the option for hybrid working.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

  • What you'll need to succeed
    In order to be successful, you must have:
  • Proven successful experience managing projects from inception through to completion in the water industry
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Full UK driving licence.
