Contract Status: Fixed Term Until June 2029

About the Service:

The Over to YOUth project is part of SEUPB's Youth Programme under Theme 3.2 "Empowering & Investing in Our Young People." This is a cross-border initiative designed to support disadvantaged & marginalized youth aged 14-24 years across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland. This will be a targeted capacity building 6-month programme with intensive weekly engagement across 3-4 days a week, providing opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to share the same space and learn from each other as an effective way to eliminate prejudice and promote mutual respect.

About the Job:

Lead on the implementation of Extern's Over to YOUth project Manage the recruitment and induction of new staff Manager the relationships with funders, partners and stakeholders Provide leadership to the new staff within the Programme, ensuring a long-term strategy is in place for the Programme and that it is set up to achieve its objectives in full Be instrumental in the initial development of the services across the Project areas Ensure the most effective training and support is provided to staff newly recruited on to the project Effective budgetary control and management
