Job Title: Commercial Project Manager (MCIOB)

Location: London, UK

Overview:

We are working with a private family office who develop and own a range of core and value add commercial properties across London and the South East. We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Commercial Project Manager (MCIOB) to lead and deliver high-profile commercial office construction projects across London. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record managing schemes from RIBA Stage 0 through to completion, with deep understanding of the design, planning, procurement, and delivery processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial office projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
  • Develop and lead project briefs, feasibility studies, and strategic programmes in collaboration with clients and consultants.
  • Appoint and manage multidisciplinary design and consultant teams, ensuring clear coordination and communication throughout.
  • Lead planning applications, procurement strategies, tender processes, contract administration, and project reporting.
  • Oversee construction delivery and site progress, ensuring compliance with specifications, health & safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Proactively manage risks, budgets, and timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders and steering groups.
  • Work closely with developers, landlords, investors, and occupiers to align project delivery with commercial goals.


Requirements:

  • MCIOB qualification is essential.
  • 5+ years' experience managing commercial construction projects in the office or mixed-use sectors.
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects from RIBA Stage 0 to completion.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction, design coordination, contract law (JCT/NEC), and planning regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
