Job Description

Project Manager - Entry Level - Beer & Beverage - Barcelona, Spain

Taphandles Cerviteca SL, the Spanish subsidiary of Taphandles LLC (USA), is expanding with a new assembly, sales, and service operation in Barcelona. We are seeking two entry-level Project Managers to help grow and manage client relationships across Spain, the EU, and beyond.

Taphandles is a global leader in beer marketing, specializing in highly bespoke, brand-oriented beer fonts and tap handles. Through creativity, design, and high-end craftsmanship, we help breweries elevate their brand presence and sell more beer.

This is a full-time, in-person role based at our new Barcelona facility.

This is an entry level position and involves a substantial amount of up-front training. We will teach you and guide you to learn everything you need to know to do this job. No prior experience is required. That said, we are looking for people with high levels of aptitude for learning and problem solving, including the ability to learn some of the technical aspects of beer fonts and beer tap handles.

About the Role

The Project Manager is responsible for owning and overseeing all aspects of the projects within their assigned portfolio. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role that works closely with cross-functional stakeholders in sales, accounting, design, engineering, manufacturing, and operations to achieve commercial goals.

This role will be based at our new Barcelona location, opening in June 2025 - most likely in the Badalona neighborhood and with access to public transportation. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Some travel may be required to our Seattle HQ, our factory in China, or other EU destinations for meetings, training, or business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily communication with factories, customers, and partners regarding new and ongoing projects. This includes timeline management, production and shipping updates, and setting clear customer expectations.
  • Directly interface with customers to support project execution and uphold a high standard of service and communication.
  • Support business development by managing project data in CRM and ERP systems. We use NetSuite - prior exposure is a plus.
  • Collaborate on project budgets, define pricing structures, and prepare customer quotes and proposals.
  • Attend customer meetings to capture milestones and coordinate project plans; communicate updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop expert knowledge of customer accounts and service requirements, as well as company operations, production capabilities, and product offerings.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Maintain detailed project plans and status reports.
  • Oversee the full product development cycle, including reviewing specifications, prototypes, and other project-specific approvals.
  • Demonstrate high energy, a positive attitude, and a solution-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to learn, grow, and collaborate.
  • Take on additional duties and initiatives as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree, any degree is OK, engineering degree a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Motivated to become a long-term, integral member of a growing team.
  • Professional, solution-oriented, and team-focused approach, grounded in respect and optimism.
  • Valid EU passport or permanent EU residency.

What We Offer

  • Salary: €33,000 per year
  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • Permanent contract (contrato indefinido)
  • 22 days of paid annual leave
