On behalf of Tesco IMS, AMS are now looking for a Project Manager - Data Migration & Reportingfor a 6 month contract based in the bank's Edinburgh office on a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities
Programme Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of the data migration and reporting workstream.
- Manage the implementation of Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based data platforms.
- Oversee the replication of existing Power BI reports to the new platform to support BAU operations.
Stakeholder & Communication Management:
- Engage with senior stakeholders, sponsors, and implementation partners (eg, Zenzure).
- Facilitate fortnightly sponsor updates and ensure clear communication of risks, issues, and progress.
Technical Oversight:
- Coordinate with technical teams on data migration from Tesco Bank-supported platforms.
- Ensure successful implementation of new data governance tools and frameworks.
- Support the setup of Azure landing zones and integration with AWS where applicable.
Risk & Issue Management:
- Maintain a standardised approach to identifying, tracking, and mitigating risks and issues.
- Ensure all programme deliverables are aligned with the TSA (Transitional Services Agreement) and completed by the October 2026 deadline.
Team & Vendor Coordination:
- Work closely with implementation partners and internal teams to align on delivery plans.
- Collaborate with the new Data Governance team and Reporting Analytics team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of data architectures: platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, GCP), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and data warehouses.
- Familiarity with ETL processes: Knowing how data is extracted, transformed, and loaded.
- Knowledge of data governance: Including data quality, lineage, privacy, and compliance (eg, GDPR).
- Experience with migration tools: Such as Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, or custom scripts.
