senior project manager to support a strategic operations-data analytics initiative focused on improving executive reporting infrastructure across the bank. The tool is already live, and the next phase is to expand coverage across the global operations footprint and embed a scalable model for adoption across HSBC.

Key focus areas

• Manage 2 people

• Own the delivery plan, build the roadmap, and drive execution

• Manage programme structure, milestones, risks and dependencies

• Work with data architects (need a lot of influence here), data engineering teams and Ops SMEs

• Expand reporting coverage across global operations

• Support executive MI, governance and control uplift

• Produce high-quality senior decks and reporting materials

• Maintain delivery in JIRA/Confluence and standard HSBC frameworks

• Manage two resources and influence wider virtual teams

What they need:

• Must have prior HSBC experience

• Strong background delivering data change/MI/reporting programmes

• Operations-data experience

• Able to operate independently without heavy direction

• Comfortable switching between detail and senior-level engagement

• Strong stakeholder and communication capability

• Hands-on with delivery tools (JIRA, Confluence) and PowerPoint

• Structured, organised, outcome-focused

• Experience working with data architecture teams and large data programmes
