Project Manager - Building Fit Out & Occupation Dublin 8

Our client is progressing a major long-term campus redevelopment project, with a new campus planned over the next eight years.

As part of this transition, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the fit out, mobilisation and operational setup of temporary premises in Dublin 8.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, managing suppliers and contractors, and ensuring projects run smoothly from planning through to occupation. With the groundwork already in place, the successful candidate will take ownership of execution and day-to-day coordination, working closely with the Campus Development Manager and Head of Corporate Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the fit out and occupation of the temporary building in line with project timelines
• Manage supplier schedules and ensure works are completed in the correct sequence
• Oversee procurement processes in line with public sector requirements
• Manage the procurement, delivery and installation of furniture, fixtures and fittings
• Coordinate IT infrastructure and operational readiness with internal teams and external vendors
• Support security systems and building access requirements
• Monitor timelines, shipments, lead times and contractor deliverables
• Maintain project trackers, risk logs and budget updates
• Act as a key point of contact for IT, HR, Finance and Operations
• Attend regular project meetings with senior stakeholders and the wider project team

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience managing fit out, relocation, facilities or operational move projects
• Strong organisational and project coordination skills with excellent attention to detail
• Experience with public sector procurement frameworks or regulated environments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
• Confident dealing with contractors, suppliers and operational teams
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong execution skills
