As a Project Engineering Lead , you are responsible for managing multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating the full engineering scope for fixed offshore structures - from concept and basic design to detailed execution. You combine strong technical expertise with leadership and organizational skills to deliver high-quality results for international clients in the offshore wind and oil & gas sectors.

Your responsibilities

As Project Engineering Lead, you oversee both the technical execution and the progress of engineering projects, ensuring alignment between teams, stakeholders, and clients.

Your tasks include:

• Managing and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams across all engineering phases
• Overseeing project planning, budget, quality, and risk management
• Acting as the primary technical contact for clients and internal stakeholders
• Reviewing engineering deliverables and ensuring technical compliance with project requirements
• Guiding engineers in developing concept, basic, and detail designs for offshore structures such as jackets, monopiles, and topsides
• Preparing and reviewing engineering documentation, design reports, and progress updates
• Promoting collaboration between disciplines to optimize technical and project performance

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in structural or offshore engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coordination role
• Proven experience with jackets, monopiles, or other offshore structures or foundations for (preferably) offshore wind or oil & gas projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English (Dutch is a plus)
• Solution-oriented, organized, and capable of motivating cross-functional teams
