Project Delivery Manager G7

A major central government department is seeking a G7-equivalent Project Delivery Manager to join them on an initial 6 month inside IR35 contract.

Key Responsibilities:
- Translate policy into actionable implementation plans.
- Lead realignment activities for:
  - Animal tracking and tracing.
  - Movement of animals.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong project delivery and planning expertise.
- Ability to manage complex policy-driven projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of policy-driven projects, ensuring scope, timelines, risks, and resources are actively managed and aligned with organisational objectives.
Coordinate research, data gathering, and stakeholder consultation activities to inform policy options, impact assessments, and decision-making materials.
Translate policy requirements into clear delivery plans, roadmaps, and workstreams, ensuring cross-functional teams understand priorities and dependencies.
Monitor progress against milestones, report status to senior leaders, and elevate delivery issues early while driving corrective actions.
Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating governance forums, workshops, and working groups that support policy development and implementation.
