We are looking to fill the following position in Department 5, Digital Transformation, as soon as possible:

Project and Process Management Employee (m/f/d)

Through the further expansion of project portfolio management, you will lay the foundation for the newly established portfolio board in this position. You will support the board by preparing and accompanying board meetings, creating reports, and maintaining the portfolio, including communication with the respective project managers. In addition, you will model business processes recorded in projects in the BIC Process Design software within the process map. We are looking for applicants who approach the diverse tasks and extraordinary challenges at a university with a high level of commitment and motivation and who can keep track of things even in stressful situations.

Your tasks:
  • You will take on operational activities in the Project Management Office, e.g., maintaining the project portfolio, preparing and following up on status meetings, and creating reports.
  • You will also support the project managers with regard to methods, procedures, and tools of (agile) project management.
  • Your area of responsibility will also include advising and collaborating with all internal stakeholders, e.g., the executive committee, process owners, project and process stakeholders, and key users.
Our requirements:
  • You have either a university degree suitable for the task (e.g., business informatics, industrial engineering, administrative sciences, business administration) or, alternatively, completed training suitable for the task combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
  • You also have an interest in and, if possible, initial experience in project/portfolio management and process modeling.
  • Knowledge of organizational structures and their control processes in a university is an advantage.
  • You have a confident and engaging manner, combined with strong communication and social skills, and you work cooperatively with various internal stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented approach to work and a high level of service orientation are a matter of course for you.
General information about the position:

The place of work is Lippstadt. Regulations on working from home are in place at the university. The full-time position, which is limited to parental leave cover until April 2, 2028, is to be filled as soon as possible.
Depending on the tasks assigned and the fulfillment of personal requirements, the position will be classified up to pay grade 11 in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector in the federal states (TV-L).

Positions can also be filled on a part-time basis, unless there are operational reasons that prevent this in individual cases.
