Programme Manager - Azure Cloud Migration & Transformation - 1 year - Hybrid in Dublin

We're recruiting for a Programme Manager to lead enterprise-scale Azure cloud migration and transformation programmes for a leading organisation, working with senior technology and business stakeholders across cloud, security, architecture, operations, and delivery teams. You'll manage multiple interconnected workstreams - including Azure Landing Zones, infrastructure migration, application modernisation, data platform transformation, security and compliance, and cloud operating model implementation - from strategy through to migration execution, adoption, and value realisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of Azure Cloud Migration and Transformation programmes, ensuring outcomes align to business objectives and digital transformation goals
• Establish programme governance, steering committees, operating models, KPIs, integrated plans, and executive reporting frameworks
• Define Azure migration roadmaps, lead application portfolio assessments, and establish migration waves, cutover strategies, and dependency management
• Lead Azure Landing Zone setup, cloud foundation implementation, infrastructure migration, application modernisation, and transition to steady-state operations
• Engage CIOs, CTOs, cloud leaders, enterprise architects, security teams, and business stakeholders, acting as the primary escalation point for programme risks and issues
• Manage programme budgets, forecasts, cloud consumption, benefits realisation, ROI tracking, and cost optimisation initiatives using Azure-native capabilities
• Maintain RAID logs and ensure compliance with security, regulatory, governance, disaster recovery, and resilience requirements
• Lead organisational change management, cloud adoption, operating model redesign, and training/knowledge transition activities
• Manage third-party vendors, service integrators, and global delivery teams - cloud architects, migration engineers, security specialists, project managers, and SMEs

What You Will Ideally Bring

• 12-15+ years of IT experience, including at least 8+ years managing large transformation programmes
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure Cloud Migration programmes
• Strong understanding of Azure Landing Zones, infrastructure migration, application modernisation, cloud foundations, and operating models
• Experience managing transformation portfolios exceeding £5M+ in annual programme value
• Strong track record delivering infrastructure, application, and data transformation initiatives across complex enterprise environments
• Excellent executive stakeholder management skills - CIO, CTO, cloud, architecture, security, and business teams
• Strong programme governance, financial management, RAID management, reporting, and benefits realisation capability
• Experience leading multi-vendor, offshore, nearshore, and onsite teams in complex delivery environments
• Experience with Azure-native cost optimisation, cloud consumption management, disaster recovery, and cloud adoption frameworks (desirable)
• Experience mentoring project managers and cross-functional delivery teams (desirable)

• Duration: 12 Months
• Rate: £500 per day
• Location: Dublin - Hybrid
