Job Description
Location: London, Soho (4 days office / 1 day WFH) Open Media is recruiting for a Programmatic Manager to join our growing team in Central London.

You will be instrumental in supporting our rapid growth by overseeing all programmatic spend, and it is a really exciting time to join the business.

Open Media are one of the fastest growing OOH companies and are extremely proud to be the only Outdoor media owner with B Corp certification in Europe.

Our Culture & Values

Open Media has been built from the ground up on the basis of trust, honesty, and communication. We believe our people are our best asset. Each member of our team plays an important role in the growth of the business, and we are committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and fast-paced environment where you can develop your skills and career.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Programmatic Manager, you will be a core operational link between data, programmatic technology and our sales team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • SSP operations - day-to-day management of our SSP stack (Broadsign, Perion, Place Exchange, VIOOH), ensuring all sites and screens are live, active, and correctly onboarded at all times; proactively identifying and resolving any inventory or delivery gaps before they affect revenue.
  • New inventory onboarding - adding new screens, formats, and placements to our SSPs as the estate grows, making sure every new site is correctly configured, targetable, and ready to transact from day one.
  • New SSP onboarding - leading the technical and commercial onboarding of new supply-side platforms as we expand our programmatic partnerships, from initial integration through to full go-live.
  • Deal creation - building and managing programmatic deals (PMPs, PGs, preferred deals) across our SSPs in line with client and agency requirements.
  • Creative approvals - reviewing and approving programmatic creative to ensure compliance with platform, format, and site specifications ahead of campaign go-live.
  • Sales service for agencies & DSPs - acting as the day-to-day programmatic point of contact for trading desks, agencies, and DSP partners, providing platform support, troubleshooting, and account service to keep relationships running smoothly.
  • CPM negotiations - negotiating floor prices and deal-level CPMs with agencies, DSPs, and trading desks to balance revenue growth with fill rate and client satisfaction.
  • Responding to briefs - turning around programmatic briefs from agencies and clients with tailored recommendations, deal structures, and inventory proposals.
  • Presenting & attending meetings - representing programmatic in client, agency, and internal meetings, presenting performance, capability, and opportunities with confidence.
  • Marketing collateral - partnering with Marketing to produce and keep up to date programmatic-facing collateral (one-pagers, capability decks, case studies) used in market.
  • Cross-functional partnership - working closely with Sales and Ops to ensure programmatic runs smoothly end-to-end, from deal creation through to delivery and reporting.
  • Reporting & insight - tracking and communicating programmatic performance against targets, both internally and to clients.
What We're Looking For.
  • Proven experience in programmatic advertising - DOOH/OOH experience strongly preferred, but candidates from programmatic display, video, or CTV backgrounds with a willingness to learn OOH will be considered.
  • Hands-on experience with SSPs (Broadsign, Perion, Place Exchange, VIOOH, or comparable platforms e.g. Vistar).
  • Comfortable being the technical/product point of contact for programmatic - you'll be diagnosing delivery issues, not just reporting on them.
  • Strong data literacy - comfortable pulling and interpreting platform data to spot trends, issues, and opportunities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management - this role works daily with Sales and Ops and needs someone who can translate technical detail for a commercial audience.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems a plus.
Why Join Us.

As well as a competitive basic salary and commission/bonus structure, you will also receive the following benefits:

  • £1,000 annual training and development fund.
  • 16 hours paid volunteering time per year.
  • 4 Wellness Days per annum - 4 annual paid days to encourage switching off the screen, recuperating and investing in yourself with activities such as exercise/reading etc.
