Program Manager, EU Imports, EU Global Logistics Import

DESCRIPTION

Global Logistics (GL) is dedicated to building, managing, and operating a global logistics network that enables selection from anywhere in the world and delivers customer orders globally, cost-effectively. The EU GL team is responsible for carrier performance related to international inbound shipments for Vendors and Sellers.

The LM EU team collaborates closely with Retail vendors and FBA sellers to develop capabilities, products, and carrier strategies to enhance our offerings. The team also works with local Transportation and Operations teams to leverage existing agreements, assets, and capabilities, aiming to strengthen our product offerings and extend our reach globally. Additionally, the EU team coordinates with other GL teams worldwide to align origin capabilities with destination needs, reducing transportation costs and improving on-time performance.

This Program Manager role is part of the Program Management team and focuses on leading operations and cost optimization initiatives for the Global Logistics EU Destination Operations. Responsibilities may include building new systems and processes from scratch.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end projects to improve Global Logistics destination operations in speed, cost, and reliability.
  2. Own program management activities and metrics for the GL EU team.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and obtain necessary support.
  4. Become a subject matter expert on processes.

We are open to candidates working in Luxembourg, LUX.

The team manages the timely movement of freight from global manufacturing hubs into Amazon's international marketplaces, leveraging world-class logistics providers and internal solutions to increase selection and reduce costs.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience with SQL
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas, data cleansing, array formulas)

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Experience with MS Access and SQL
  • Experience in analytical, results-oriented environments with cross-functional interactions
