Location: Hybrid
Salary: Negotiable, plus car allowance, plus up to 10% performance bonus , plus excellent benefits package.

As a Professional Services Infrastructure Engineer, you will undertake technical hands on design, implementation, roll out and transition activities. You will be familiar with operating, managing, securing, and optimising on premises systems and solutions. The role is hybrid with a combination of working from our office in Bristol, travelling to customer sites around the UK and remote working.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure & Network
Design, implement, and maintain secure on premises network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and segmentation controls. - Microsoft Platform Security
Design and harden Microsoft Operating Systems (Server and Desktop) and Group Policies to enforce robust security baselines. - Authentication & Access
Configuration of Active Directory. Deploy and manage Multifactor Authentication solutions (YubiKey/Authenticator) to safeguard identity and access across the enterprise. - Endpoint Control
Configure endpoint security solutions including EDR, anti malware (Defender), and DLP. - Application Deployment
Deploy applications for on premises and cloud (Intune) solutions. - Vulnerability Management
Perform vulnerability assessments using Tenable, driving remediation and continuous improvement. - Design, execution and optimisation of technical platforms & services including Azure services, Intune and MDM Administration, Azure IaaS/PaaS.
- Design, build, configure and document secure networks and system architectures both on premises and cloud.
- Client side application deployment and migrations.
- Implement and enforce security baselines across Microsoft platforms.
- Manage authentication, access control, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Provide technical input into security policies and compliance audits.
Employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance which requires 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application. Travel to client sites and Logiq offices will be required.
What We're Looking For- Proven design and implementation experience with on premises infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows Server/Desktop, Active Directory, Group Policies, WSUS, Certification Authority).
- Hands on experience with MFA solutions, virtualisation platforms, and network security appliances.
- Understanding of SIEM operations, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with recognised security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, Cyber Essentials).
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and influence technical decisions.
- Proven design and implementation experience with cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune).
- Experience deploying security configurations to Linux operating systems.
