Baltic Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a world-class automotive manufacturer based in the Sunderland area. Due to continued growth and exciting new projects, we are now recruiting Production Operatives to join their high-performing team.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity offering a clear pathway to a permanent contract after just 6 months of service.

The Role

You'll be working in a fast-paced, modern production environment manufacturing high-quality automotive components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating production machinery including robotic spot-welding cells, grinders and a 3000-tonne press (placement dependent on experience)
• Loading welding jigs with materials and consumables
• Producing components in line with work instructions and customer requirements
• Carrying out quality inspections to ensure the highest standards
• Completing required documentation
• Performing general production duties, housekeeping and basic machine checks

• Previous experience within a production environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and meet production targets
• Team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Flexible and adaptable approach to shift work
• Ability to respond constructively to feedback

Pay & Working Hours

• 39 hours per week plus overtime available
• Monday to Friday
• Weekly rotating shifts (must be able to work both):

Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:10pm (3:00pm finish on Fridays)

Back Shift: 3:10pm - 11:20pm (3:00pm - 11:00pm on Fridays)
