Job Description

As a Production Operative in Deeside, you will support a growing manufacturing business by operating machinery and assisting with product filling processes.

This temporary contract pays between £13.50 and £14.50 per hour, with a rotational three-shift pattern covering days and nights (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00).

Your duties involve maintaining output, following strict health and safety protocols, and upholding quality standards throughout each task.

Prior experience in a similar hands-on position is beneficial, alongside reliability and attention to detail.

You will join a team focused on efficient, safe production, ensuring every batch meets specifications.

This role suits someone comfortable with varied shifts and physical work within a structured manufacturing environment.

Production Operative - Are you an experienced Production Operative looking to join a successful and growing manufacturing business£ We re recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy production team in Deeside.

This is a hands-on role where you ll play a key part in ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
  • Operating production machinery and equipment
  • Supporting product filling and manufacturing processes
  • Monitoring production runs to ensure targets and deadlines are achieved
  • Identifying and reporting potential production issues or bottlenecks
  • Assisting in reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency
  • Completing production documentation accurately
  • Reporting equipment faults and breakdowns to the maintenance team
  • Following all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience operating production machinery
  • A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong team-working skills and a positive, proactive attitude
