Production Operative

Pertemps North Midlands is seeking a Production Operative to join its client in Appleby Magna on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This position involves assembling ignition lead sets to a precise standard while consistently achieving output targets. You will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, earning £12.71 per hour. Production Operative - Temp to Perm Pertemps are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our client on a temp-to-perm basis. • Assemble ignition lead sets in line with production specifications.
• Work consistently to required speed and quality standards.
• Take responsibility for the quality of your own work.
• Meet required production output targets.
• Learn and master the assembly of a full range of ignition lead sets, including bespoke and custom sets.
• Select the next order and obtain the relevant production sheet.
• Gather the correct components required for each order.
• Assemble products accurately according to the production specification.
• Carry out quality checks on completed sets.
• Check lengths, indents, fittings, numbers, terminals and powdering.
• Box completed sets neatly to ensure a high-quality finished appearance.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation and working area.
• Follow safe working practices at all times.

• The successful candidate will ideally have: Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, assembly or warehouse environment.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• The ability to follow written instructions and production specifications accurately.
