Responsibilities

• Work as a Production Operative, making and packing the nation's much loved Greggs products.
• Follow all processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made and customers are satisfied.
• Produce our famous products while maintaining the highest quality standards and adhering to health, safety and hygiene processes.
• Operate in a fast paced, high performance environment where timescales and targets are important.
• Handle food, prepare and bake, lift and carry and carry out tasks such as cleaning.
• Work in a food production environment that may expose you to flour, dust, chilled and frozen conditions.
• Maintain an inclusive culture and recognise the value of difference.

Qualifications

• Previously worked as a Production Operative (preferred). Experience in a food production environment is essential.
• Comfortable handling, preparing and baking food.
• Comfortable standing for long periods, lifting and carrying, and performing cleaning tasks.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work shifts that could include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience of using SAP systems would be beneficial but is not essential.
