Production Operative

Join us as a Production Operative and you'll be a key part of the Greggs Team, making and packing the nation's much-loved Greggs products. You'll have a passion for quality and will follow all the correct processes and procedures to ensure the best products are made, keeping our customers satisfied.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, handle, bake, and pack Greggs products following quality and safety standards.
• Ensure that products meet the highest quality standards and comply with health, safety, and hygiene processes.
• Support a close knit team in a fast paced, high performance environment where timescales and targets are important.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with cleaning tasks.
• Work in a chilled/frozen environment and be aware of flour and dust exposure.

About You

• Previous experience as a Production Operative is ideal.
• Comfortable with handling, preparing, and baking food.
• Take pride in the quality of the products you produce.
• Comfortable standing for long periods, lifting, carrying and carrying out cleaning duties.
• Supportive of an inclusive culture and recognise the value of difference.
• Experience of using SAP systems is a plus but not essential.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work shifts that may include nights, weekends and bank holidays.
